The 12h Annual Stowe OKTOBERFEST 2008 will start on Saturday, September 27th, at 10:00 a.m., at the Weeks Hill Road Events Field with a Grand Parade featuring special guests, including Miss Vermont. The parade will include the Stowe High School Marching Band, floats, unusual and classic cars and trucks, dignitaries, popular political statement entries, area non-profit organizations, and a few surprises. Spectators will find many vantage points to view the festivities along the parade route which winds its way down the Mountain Road, to Main Street and Park Street, and to its final destination at the Oktoberfest Bavarian Village in the Jackson Arena.

Burgermeister Ken Schumann will officially open OKTOBERFEST 2008 -- with the traditional Keg Tapping ceremony at 11:30 a.m. PROSIT!
